Garry Rumbles

Garry Rumbles was educated in the United Kingdom, where he obtained is undergraduate and graduate degrees, and was a faculty member at Imperial College London prior to joining NREL in 2000. At NREL he is a Senior Research Fellow and holds an Adjoint Professor of Chemistry position at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a photochemist and spectroscopist with a current interest of photoinduced electron transfer processes in conjugated molecular and polymer systems. His primary expertise is in the development and use of time-resolved microwave spectroscopy to track excitations, dipoles and free charges in solid-state and solution-phase organic systems.
