Chamikara Karunasena

Chamikara received his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky in 2022. His doctoral thesis has focused on multiscale modeling and simulations on synthetic organic materials. His expertise are on molecular dynamics simulations, enhanced sampling techniques and quantum chemical calculations. Currently, he is working on the discovery and development on semiconducting polymer materials for smart energy technologies. 

He joined Prof. Jean-Luc Bredas group in November 2022 as a postdoctoral research associate.
