Amalie Atassi

PhD Candidate, School of Materials Science and Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology
Stingelin Group

Ph.D. Student in Stingelin and Yee Groups.

Amalie investigates the thermal and electronic properties of organic materials, including small molecules and polymeric semiconductors. In the lab, she fabricates thin films and utilizes the 3-omega method or the van der Pauw technique to measure thermal and charge transport, respectively. To gain further insight, she incorporates X-ray spectroscopy (XPS, XES, XAS), X-ray scattering (GIWAXS), and thermal analysis (TGA, DSC) to understand the structure-property relationship that dictate transport. Outside of the lab, she enjoys music, traveling, trying delicious foods, and time with friends.
